Information Technology is seen as the key to better quality of life as well as means of providing new set of skills required for economic growth and development of the country.

The District Government under the able and visionary leadership of City District Nazim is striving hard to make significant progress in the field of Information Technology. Plan to work on the following area has been chalked out.

1. To introduce IT in the Government offices.
2. To develop Network Infrastructure.
3. To provide skill for the District work force.
4. To prepare data base for efficient public service.

The District Administration Rawalpindi takes this opportunity to invite all the stake holders to join hands in our sincere endeavors for the promotion of IT in the District to ensure a progressive and prosperous Pakistan.
